A fine-art giclée print of an original Hugo North painting. Every design begins as a real painting in Hugo’s studio near the Peaks — brush, ink and all — then it’s made into a print to order. You’re buying a faithful, gallery-quality reproduction, not a poster.

The unframed print is made on thick 280gsm FineArt Paper with archival pigment inks — chosen to hold their colour and detail for a lifetime. Every other finish (gallery canvas and the black, white and natural floating frames) is printed on premium canvas.

The paintings are made by hand in Hugo’s studio near the Peaks. Every print is then produced to order and inspected before it leaves our Dinnington studio, and all framing is done by hand here in Britain.

Every print comes in three sizes: A3 (29.7 × 42 cm), A2 (42 × 59.4 cm) and A1 (59.4 × 84.1 cm). A3 suits shelves, kitchens and gallery clusters; A2 works for hallways, bedrooms and pairs; A1 is the statement piece above a sofa or bed. See it in the room on any product page.

Five, and every print is offered in all of them: Unframed — the bare giclée print; Gallery Canvas — wrapped canvas, no glass; and three hand-made floating wooden frames — Black, White and Natural oak.

Choose Unframed if you already have a frame or like to pick your own. Gallery Canvas gives you texture and a ready-to-hang piece with no glass and no glare. A floating frame is the finished, gift-ready option — the canvas sits inside a slim wooden border with a shadow-line gap around it.

No — the floating frames hold a wrapped canvas rather than paper behind glass. That means no reflections, nothing to shatter in transit, and a lighter piece to hang.

We don’t hold pre-printed stock. Your print is created fresh once you order and inspected for quality before it’s packed — so every piece leaves the studio brand new.

Please allow 3–5 working days for us to print, cure and package your artwork, then 1–2 working days for UPS to deliver within the UK — so most orders reach the wall inside a week. Framed pieces can take a day or two longer.

We ship with UPS. As soon as your order leaves the studio you’ll get a confirmation email with a UPS tracking link, so you can follow it or manage your drop-off preferences.

Smaller unframed prints ship flat in rigid, bend-proof mailers; larger ones are rolled in heavy-duty, impact-resistant tubes. Canvas and framed pieces are wrapped and boxed by hand in protective, impact-absorbing materials built for transit.

Right now we ship within the UK. If you’re further afield and have your heart set on a piece, email Hugo with the print and size you’d like and we’ll see what can be arranged.

If you change your mind, you can return a piece within 14 days of delivery for a full refund — it just needs to come back unused and in its original packaging, with return postage at your own cost. Cancellations are only possible within 2 hours of ordering, as we start making your piece quickly, so please double-check your size, finish and delivery address before you check out. And if anything arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll replace it free. Full detail is on Delivery & Returns.

We’ll put it right at our expense. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of both the damaged print or frame and the outer packaging. Once we’ve seen the photos we’ll fast-track a brand-new replacement — no need to send the damaged one back unless we ask.

Hang it out of direct, prolonged sunlight to keep the colours true. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth — no water or liquid cleaners on the canvas or the print surface. Treated kindly, the archival inks and FineArt Paper will look their best for decades.
